Either ElfxEvil took my photo reference....or EvilxElf. I think it's the latter...but...anyways...I drew this... from that. It's called Irish Italian.

A very exquisite drawing. I'm awed by the fact you were able to render the freckles without making them look like dark spot on her face. Even though it's a good looking drawing I feel that most of the attention is focused on the eye because of the high contranst of light and shadow. But It you were able to bring more contrast into the face I think the viewers eyes would move throughout the drawing instead of focusing in on one specifc section. Based on the image it seems there is't much variations of value. From what I can see there's only about 3-4 possibly 5. Next time try expanding the value range more, 7-10 different values is accepetable. In order to do this use pencils of differnt hardness. Use "B" pencils for dark areas, "H" for light areas "HB" for midtones, and a combination of all three types for a richer value. Don't get me wrong I love this drawing, it's on my favorites list, I'm just trying to pass along some advice and knowlege I've gained In my Drawing I and II class in college.
