Description ok this is dedicated to cuz of her love for van helsing! lol we were freaking over it earlier so i decided how perfect would it be if i used her in this idea i had? too perfect...

it took quite a few layers and lots of tweaking and finally i was satisfied... but not before i decided she didnt quite look like the hint of a vampire soo i added blood dripping down her chin onto her chest... i based her design off the brides from Van Helsing like a half morph into the flying brides lol

lol its actually a really sloppy process

i chose the brush tool and used the dropper tool to pick the lightest color of the hair then set my brush to about 70% and 80% then clicked the airbrush option then i started by outlining what i wanted to add to her hair then coloring it in.. (so you have a solid extension of different shapes of hair comming off her head *it looks really dumd at first*) then i choose another tone from the origional hair thats a little darker and start putting thin lines into the solid color, then once again i choose the darkest shade and draw more lines into what i added on (the trick is making the shadows look like the origional hair) then i choose the smudge tool (the default is blur if you right click on blur you have the option to choose smudge) i get smudge to uh 17 in size and 53% in strength then i start to smudge the origional hair and what i added in the direction the hair is going so it kinda looks painted and you just keep going in the direction of the hair till you are satisfied... its kinda a blending process and takes a little practice the first time i did this i did it in layers but i suggest doing it on a test piece first lol i'll make a tutorial sometime soon hopefully for hair

hope that explains it a little.. or makes any sense at all lol i know its a lot to read

nah lol if you can scribble you can do it its kinda like scribbling the only part that takes skill is the smudge tool thats it oh and make sure to scribble in a shape otherwise it will be really dumb looking lol
