this is the initial idea I had, and I definitely had to get myself pumped to do it... since in my head it seemed so.. hard ugh. In all honesty this turned out waaay better than it was in my head, the lotus on her cheek, i painted on, and was so nervous it would look so hideous. Overall i love this art, my fiance is totally obsessed with it, he is convinced it is one of the best i've ever done... haha he makes me smile so much.original photo:

Yeah it's the colours I think, it's so beautiful. My "escape in dream" drawing took about an hour, which is pretty quick, most stuff takes a bit longer. But somehow it's the most gave commented viewed one.

Yeah speaking of most viewed, a picture of me holding some pokeball crafts got like over 200 downloads! What the???!! I didn't realise until the other day, now I'm thinking about, is kinda weird, to think over 200 people have that stores somewhere, or to think that 1 person downloaded 200 copies lol, that's a even more scare thought haha

Me, too, hon. No worries. Time in a contraption I could never get the hang of, other than day, night, summer, spring, fall, winter, and somewhere-in-between.
I will certainly let you know. But, I have to warn you, and I traded art. The print he purchased for me took over a month, and a written notice to customer service, before I got it. Also, I actually purchased two accidentally. If I actually get it before Christmas, I'm going to give it away for a present, so you'll be hanging on one more wall.

Thank you very much <3 I am a lot happier in the last few months with the work I've done. I figured out how to get my scanned to scan at 600 dpi which was an improvement. Also, I've been working at a much higher resolution on my art due to installing 64 bit windows, so it sees all my ram now and uses it! Overall the quality of the image dps and resolution-wise has improved. It feels better looking at my art that way, I really mourn for my old work, I have no high resolution saves for them 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
I know the feeling, many of my older photo's and art scans were not saved at very high size. It was good at the time but not so good now. I took a few classes at the Academy of Art University San Francisco from their Online program. They have fully accredited degrees online which is cool and they don't want to just crank out graduates like the other schools but want to crank out professonals. At 2k/class they had better

I had to do a lot of reading before I finally decided on formats I wanted to save at and resolutions my computer could handle. Even at 5 gigs ram photoshop still likes to get laggy on the really painty brushes when over 4500x4500, it's GRR at times lol
In highschool I did photo/adv photo. I think the dark room work was inspiring and developing pictures was really interesting. But I really prefer working digitally, not sure why. Maybe it's almost like a Polaroid, you can see the result almost instantly or as you go, so you can make adjustments as you go. So hard to do that traditionally.

I try to keep in mind what size I want the end product to be and what the printers will like. I've settled on a size that I think would be nice for my walls. LOL kinda selfish there
