Well, it's not really "late", we should have roses for at least another 45 days or so. Most will not be as nice as this. This was not a good year for my rose bushes!

Just like people, roses too have their ups and downs...anyway, I dare to argue, since Alice has some very beautiful roses in her gallery, so maybe not their best year, bu a good one none the less!

Here's a way to look at it if you haven't noticed, Alice likes to shoot her pics of cut flowers, I shoot on the plant. If look through my gallery you will find quite a few rose pictures. I have about 30 some rose bushes on this place, only about 5 plants have produced well this year. All the others have produced very poorly. Last year, Alice would have about 15 to 30 rose blooms in a vase, every morning, I know because I cut them!

Yes...true...but maybe your roses decided to take some time off! I don't know much about gardening, but I do know that some plants give great flowers one year and then not so many the next. Anyway, your roses, even if not like the past years, certainly presented themselves very nice!
