the Impul's-Otdachi 57 (IO 57) is a select fire Soviet bullpup design chambered in the 5.6mm experimental cartridge it has a single and burst fire option which operates using an impulse recoil system similar to the an-94 to allow for a 3-round burst where the user only feels the recoil of one bullet. Trialed in 1957 and entering service in 1958 it became a very popular rifle among vehicle crew and the Airborne forces with the VDV.
