I can really only describe this as a gothic contrast. On the one hand you have the heart, a sure indicator of love, but it's almost cancelled out by the fact that it's at the end of a noose, a sign of death. Truly brilliant!!

What's funny is most people have self-destructive behaviour these days and cause most of their love blunders and then complain about how love sucks and it never works out. Bitterness truly is an ugly concept, nice job at capturing it in one of it's best forms, emo.
