Description Found these kicking about and thought I'd upload them. They are a series of portraits of real people originally intended for a zine about "Last Words" - never finished it but still quite please with these illustrations. The were done in ink and then tidied up a little in photoshop - the idea was to keep it bold black and white so the images could be photocopied without loosing to much quality.

Top left: Karl Marx
Top right: Ernesto 'Che' Guevara
Bottom left: Pancho Villa
Bottom right: Wendy O. Williams

Maybe I'll finish the zine one day!

Thanks man, the Che was a tricky one but really satisfying in the end - the image has been intepreted and used in so many different ways and I wanted to do something that was at least a little bit different to the rest of them out there. I knew I wanted to give him a skull face because of the last words thing, and the fat marker I was using gave me an idea of the style.

That link is awesome! I did a fair bit of hunting for last words while doing the research for the zine and there is a load in there that I had no idea about. That's one badass collection of men (and one woman).

Cheers for the kind words.
