And here's another Sailor Moon fanart! I know a lot of people wanted me to draw ANOTHER ecchi / hentai art, but sorry not this time! I have the right to draw sweet things from time to time nope? "Fly Me To The Moon... I" will become another serie of artworks with each Sailor scout. And it's always going to be kinda... romantic. To all my hentai fans: don't be afraid, I'm ready to draw hentai stuffs anytime
.My drawings linearts are usually traditionally "handmade", with ink. This is the very first time I do the lineart with Photoshop's pen tool. I did a traditional lineart at first, but I was so disappointed by the result! I felt really frustrated because I really liked the rough. Fortunately, I scanned it before inking it and had it in my computer. And I thought about the fact I should try that special pen... And what a good surprise! It took me a lot of time to do the lineart (I'm not used to that tool) but I'm satisfied with the result since it's very precise. It makes me want to try it more and more and more.
Some weeks ago, I asked my fans on Facebook which Sailor scout they wanted me to draw. And everybody wanted Sailor Jupiter even if I already drew her!... Some already know I'm a die-hard fan of Jupiter (aka Makoto Kino). I think I'm in love with this character for like... 20 years!!! I'm totally obsessed, she haunts me everyday, every night... For once, I didn't want to put Mako in a humiliating position (remember the bukkake depcited on "The Hidden Face Of Jupiter" art?), I wanted to draw her in a... euh... normal way?... I think girls will like "Fly Me To The Moon I"
.The title of the art comes from a song of Frank Sinatra I adore. The link with Sailor Moon and her friends is obvious isn't it? And by the way, it's my very first artwork in Japan. Yeah, I'm living in Tokyo right now

Yes! She has such an Angelic voice!! Did you know, when they brought the film Pacific Rim to Japan, she acted as the voice of Mako Mori? That's perfect for her since Mako & Rei are so similar!

I'm only saying that these 2 characters have a lot similarities to them. They're both highly devoted to their mission(Though, in Mako's case, it's out of revenge.), they're both very intelligent, they both show great respect for their superiors(Though, in Rei's case, she was conditioned to be obedient to the commander, so you can blame her upbringing.), they both have very similar hairdos, they both have very pretty voices, they're both freaking adorable, they both pilot giant mecha against giant monsters, & they both have an undeniable romantic connection to the lean male character. It's just an observation I made. Hell, If Rei were a real person, I imagine she's look a LOT like Mako!
