Welcome Deviants! To my lair of creepy fantasies and mysterious paintings chosen for YOU, to enjoy the taste of HORROR in ART. Today I bring you 13, yes 13 chosen deviations that will either scare you to death or will force you to go beyond the depths of your mind enjoy your DARK FANTASIES.....

HERE , I PRESENT YOU THE GIFTS OF OBLIVION :

"The Horror" by najuzaid brings out the state of gloominess and demise to the perfect extent. His use of oils and the dull shades of blue and red really exhibit the dreary and putrefactive state of the body. I really appreciate the texture used and the pitch dark Gothic imagination put up the this canvas. WELL DONE!

J-horror by FateAmenableToChange Is a really horrifying piece from the Japanese and Thai horror movie industry, painted by him into this more scary watercolor form. the use of pale blue shade on her face and the blank eyeballs with the vengeful, screaming face reminds me of "THE GRUDGE" and forces me to blink my eye and scroll down the window eveytime I type these words ...The face, looks as realistic as it was in the movie! Cheers to him!

MOVING TOWARDS OUR NEXT PIECES....

"The Dunwich Horror 2" by s-caruso is the perfect piece to show the dread lands and the horror behind the grey bushes of a mysterious forests..the bleak house and the dull weather in the painting give out an atmosphere of sickness, gloom , evil and lonelines. The most highlighted thing which i can see clearly, is the lonely soul or a mortal sitting on the armchair....which when stared for a few seconds, brings out dreadful horrors in your mind! Fantastic job done on the grass and the trees!

The haunting presence - by robrey is a mysterious painting depicted the mystery behind the anonymous being, full of beauty but bleeding...is it related with the building behind her? Why is she in the middle of a graveyard? Is she a ghost or a victim herself? Her own grim presence brings out the questions to anyone who sees this lovely painting! What I liked the most in this painting, is the coordination of the main portrait with the background! It forces out an aura of a ghastly atmosphere, that too in the daytime! Who could have thought of such a great combination of fearful bombs? The creativity in this piece is more than what should it get. That is more for great appreciation!

"The zombie boy" - by johnfsebastian Makes the viewer feel the pain that the young little boy must have faced...the makrks and the gore in this artworks brings out how the cute children's play may turn out to be the most horrific scenes of your life! The addition to boy are the scraped, blood whipped toys that actually create the "Annabelle doll" like effect! Which is really good for inducing horror into a piece! What I got impressed by this painting was the use of mixed media to create a surrealistic effect that got my eyes, in an instant as I scrolled the deviations. Awesome usage of ink based paints, shading with crayons and pich of realism and BLOOD , make this a piece of perfect horror! Good Job at this Sebastian!

"Figure in the doorway" by Mavros-Thanatos Greets its visitors with "yuuckkk!!!!! Its too scary!" , "Omg! Yikes! Creepy" and much more appreciation for this painting full of inside out human body horrors and abomination creature like monster lurking in the doorway of an old building! The main shade used, that is pale yellow and grey, seep down your imagination to dreadful depths of disgust in the human mind. I really appreciate that usage of dull shades in this painting and mutated creature as the main character! Superb effects put on!

"Cthulu's Kingdom" by Acrylicdreams Is a really dark themed painting with rich blood - red contrasting tones, that bring up a hellian look to this painting. Composed of pure acrylics, this piece really inspires dark artists and specially the the skeleton hung on the tree!  The bit of reflected red light coming from beneath the earth, from a dark, dense and painful void really enhances the quality of horror in this painting. The horror enriched factors that make this special, are the classic horror inducing objects of background, like the spooky trees, the full moon, the light mist and ruined buildings. Awesomely done and finished! I congratulate you!

"Becoming you"– by ClintCarney , portrays the horror of psychical disbalance and mental anguish in a being, where it's overburdened with the morbidity around it,forcing it to transform into a deadly, mutilated and soul craving demon. The varied use of pale shades of bright colors is great enough to make it look really tempting to horror loving artists like me. And also the realistic expression on its face shows the restlessness and how  it can't  survive without a perfect host to suck life of. Beautifully painted and great job done!

"Study 9" by imagist ,  creeped me out completely, as I was alone at home and it was nearly 8pm, and I got totally scared while I pasted it in the journal. The realistic effects and the horrific smile is the best feature of this painting and makes it look gorgeously scary! The hands rather I should classify them as claws, and the the graceful pose at which the demon is taking, looks very evil and gloomy , making it perfect for a macabre painting ! The merged body and flowing blood, make a very nice , ghastly effect to the viewers! Great job!   !

"When mother got angry" – by suzzan-blac is a painting with a lot of depth and pain within it .... It forced me to cry when I read the description of this. His can a mother do such a murderous thing? It is the most horrific sight when you see a mother hurting her own child, and that too very brutally . The fear of getting killed by your very own mother is soo great and intense , that just having imagining a scene of it would lead your tbougyhya to make you cry and get scared at that very moment. Moving away from that topic, Susan has used a great mode of realism and abstraction in this painting, which makes this one , one of my faves in the list. I appreciate your painting skills!

"Sehnshut ist so grausam" By Nachan , is a very neat piece of horror, combining flat color with rough surface to make it look more textured, was a great thought! I like the usage of red in minimal quantity  as it lets the other phases of the painting come out gracefully! The blank eyes and the usage  of dull , dreary shades is very nice thought. This price when seen from far,is more scary than seen from far, making it a favourable piece to look at!  I appreciate this creation!

Coming to the end of our feature,we'll see.....

"I'll miss you" –by ChrisOzFulton , shows the sadness of a being whose cause was LOVE , which brought him only one thing, Death. This painting describes many of the feelings of Gothic poets , like my favourite, Edgar Allan Poe. The horror of love after death, results in a ghastly grudge formed that craves for the love from his partner, which be clearly pointed out by seeing the sad grimace on the skeleton's face.. The weak bones and withered heart, with amazing details , make this piece look fantastic! Great work done!

" The Hands", by-  Dave-Kendall , depict a very intense form of Satanism and demonic charming , especially with am the main character as a nun. The old, weak face with blood splatters all over , make this painting look very unique and full of gore into it. The most ironic thing is that while the nun is under the control of the devil, she's still weaeing the cross of the Christ! And the main object, the hands, Are simply amazing!the details on them and they way they are portrayed, just makes my mind swirl into horrific fantasies! Great job on realism and details!

So,we are here at the end of my creepy lair,I know it's totally dark, but if you have hope, it will get crushed because... ,.....
