Happy 4th of July, everybody. ^^
Y'know, when it comes to certain pics for specific holidays, I tend to follow a tradition of sorts. And, the day of my country's independence is now exception.
As it already wasn't clear by now, Captain America has become one of my current favorite superheroes from the Marvel universe (mostly thanks to Chris Evans' portrayal of him in the MCU), and I normally draw a pic of him (whether it be a solo pic or with the Avengers or other characters) on the 4th of July. Fitting how according to most sources, Steve Rogers was born on July 4th. Coincedence? I think NOT!!!
So, in honor of Cap's latest movie, loosely based on "Civil War," I've made my own crossover version of that story. Plot-wise, it's still the same. The government interferes with the Avengers' activities, asks them to register for a Superhero Registration Act, and Cap sees that despite any collateral damage, it's a risk he's willing to take to keep the world safe. But, Iron Man sees this as a wake-up call, and tries to get Cap, and several other heroes to see otherwise. But, things don't go the way they wanted to, and a "Civil War" between the two of them break out.
Here's where the crossover edition differs: Tony Stark was working in conjunction with a scientist named Karl Ziktor to create a portal to an alternate virtual reality. But, Tony sees a huge flaw in the machine's design, in which the other reality could release an army of evil robot mutants that could destroy the true reality, and ordered the experiment to be shut down permanently. But, Ziktor, who is actually the evil ruler of that very virtual reality known as Grimlord, decided to run a demonstration behind Tony's back. So, he got a few scientists to assist him in the demonstration, and, on his personal command, the machine goes haywire during the demonstration, and explodes, causing many casualities.
However, instead of owning up to his mistakes, Ziktor uses this catastrophie to run for president, and pins the whole thing on Cap and the Avengers, thus leading to the result of the Registration Act.
Basically Tony felt that the incident was HIS responsibility because HE created the device that exploded, and went after Cap and few other heroes who were against the Registration Act. So, he gathered a few other heroes who were for the act, and the two sides met at a neutral area, and after a failure to come to an understanding, the two sides fought it out.
So, here we have Team Cap and Team Iron Man facing off against each other with their respective teams.
On Team Cap, we have:
-Superman
-Kitty Katswell (TUFF Puppy)
-Sunset Shimmer (MLP: Equestria Girls)
-Sonic the Hedgehog
-Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger (Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers)
-Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)(not pictured)
-T-Bone (Extreme Dinosaurs)(not pictured)
-Sly Cooper (not pictured)
On Team Iron Man, we have:
-Batman
-Sub-Zero (Mortal Kombat)
-Danny Phantom
-Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)
-Ryan Steele (VR Troopers)
-Zitz (Battletoads)(not pictured)
-Ripster (Street Sharks)(not pictured)
-Carmelita Fox (Sly Cooper)(not pictured)
Okay, minimal space on the paper was the reason why Leo, T-Bone, Sly, Zitz, Ripster, and Carmelita weren't in the picture, but I'm sure you guys understand.
Anyway, I hope you guys like the pic.
And, have a Happy and Healthy 4th of July!
