Bio:
Blaire Newton was born in a family of carnival fire-eaters in the Jersey Shore known as the "Amphibious Infernos." They were considered to be one of the top-ranking performers along the New Jersey boardwalk, and they even performed with Ringtail Bros. Three-Ring Circus on occassion. Blaire took on the mantle of being the next leader of the troupe, so he studied hard to master the fiery arts. By the time he was 18, he was a fire-eating master, and he even developed a special kind of rubbing alcohol that would allow him to spew blazes of fire to wow the audience. He always kept the alcohol with him in jugs in case he wants to do so.
However, despite his success as a circus performer, Blaire was REALLY bored with his life. While he was getting ready for another performance, he saw a commercial on TV advertising TUFF Academy. After watching it, and seeing that they were accepting spring applicants, Blaire decided to retire from the circus, and join in hopes of using his fire-eating skills to help TUFF combat criminals. So, after enrolling in the academy, he decided to sign up for the TUFF Academy Temple Games, and actually took classes with Kitty Katswell herself a couple of times.
During the Temple Games, Blaire was on the same team as Kitty's school rival, Jessica Spotrunner, who was actually a DOOM agent sent by General Guar to destroy TUFF from the inside. On his first night with his team, Blaire accidentally burned down a tool shed for the Academy's custodial staff. Jessica saw this as the beginning of a new set of criminals, and encouraged Blaire and her other teammates to be aggressive in the Games. Blaire was hesistant at first, but as the Games progressed, he quickly began to like his new criminal mindset. But, when one of his teammates, Oliver Spraze, ratted on him and his teammates for rigging the Games in their favor, Blaire got expelled from the Academy, and began his new criminal career.
However, Blaire was eventually arrested for pyromania, and sentenced to life in prison, which was how he got reunited with five of his fellow teammates from TUFF Academy. A few weeks later, he was busted out by the notorious Jack the Ripper, who offered to join him in laying waste to Petropolis on Friday the 13th. So, when Kitty intervened, Blaire assisted his friends in beating her up because of how weak she was on Friday the 13th, only for her to be rescued by General Guar. Afterwards, he continued helping Jack rampage through Petropolis, only to be defeated by Karen Firefox and Alley Labra while Kitty and Guar took care of Jack himself. After Jack's death, Blaire was arrested and taken back to prison.

Personality & Traits:
Blaire has the mentality of a performer given his circus background, and loves to put on a show for the masses. But, he tends to be pretty timid at times, and is always hesistant to try new things. But, once he gets comfortable with it, he grows to accept it, which was how his criminal career got started. And, once he began his career, Blaire became a fiery force to be reckoned with, but is still hesistant as to whether or not he made the right decision.
When Blaire joined his Temple Games team, he was nervous around them, but he grew to accept them once Jessica learned of their true criminal endeavors. He didn't change his feelings for them when they officially turned to crime, but he thought that Jack the Ripper was an absolute nutcase, although he didn't say anything to him about it. Even after Jack's death, and he and his friends parted ways, Blaire still keeps in touch with them, though he has decided to offer his services to other high-paying criminals.
Aside from being timid at times, Blaire's biggest weakness is being caught unprepared. He sometimes feels off-guard if he doesn't have his fire or his jug of rubbing alcohol with him, making him easier to defeat. Also, if he keeps the alcohol in his mouth for more than 30 seconds, it dissolves in it, leaving him with a stinging aftertaste. But, Blaire always tries to be prepared for anything, and continues his criminal career despite some mishaps along the way.

So, that's Blaire's update for "TUFF: Team Katswell."
Whaddaya think, guys?

This villain character you've created does look quite interesting, and I have heard of myths about newts being able to generate fire as well.

Thanks, Casey.

Yeah, I've heard those myths. That's probably were the inspiration of the Power Rangers monster Saliguana came from.

You're welcome, and the myths were also used as inspiration for Charmander for the PokΓ©mon games as well, since the name does derive from the word 'salmander'.

It's amazing that there are so many bad guys that start out with wanting to become TUFF Agents who then end up as villains.

Blaire looks really cool here! I like the idea of an amphibian being associated with fire, which makes him really unique among his brethren. Something else that's cool about him is that he has red eyes, which go well with his pyromania.

The idea of him being a bit timid is also quite interesting, which helps to differentiate him from other criminals. I bet if Jessica wasn't there at the Temple Games, he could have actually turned out to be a really good T.U.F.F. agent. ^^

Yeah, it sure does, Foxy. That, and with him being a fire-belly newt would have something to do with it.

Oh, totally. If Jessica didn't convince him otherwise, Blaire would've been a great asset to TUFF. They could've used someone like him.
