Note: This is all in good fun. I am not a creationist myself, and do believe in evolution, but also think God was involved somewhere along the line. Just to clarify that as I may receive some interesting comments on this! And on that note, I'd love to hear whatever you think/believe so long as it is kept tasteful and does not slam one side or the other.

I'm not sure if I do believe in a god, but I often think that, if he does exist, he's more worried about things such as arragement of the galaxies than about a single, tiny planet such as Earth and the beings with megalomaniacy complex who live in it. (This is not supposed to offend anybody, but if it does, there's not much I can do at all...)

Okay this put a grin on my face and I needed that. Course I would take that statement to be God giving me a test and it's to figure out the cladisticts of this particular animal using it, the fossil record, and whatever else I can discover. Interestingly the platypuss' bill is more reptilian than bird. It has a membrane of skin which birds don't have.
