Is the visor supposed to be plain metal? If yes the holes are a bit too few, he'll have trouble seeing anything through them. Even more so with the gasmaks he's wearing under it.

Actually, you'd be surprised at how much visibility visors like these would give. Medieval helmets had even tinier holes than this one, yet they afforded more than enough visibility for knights to function effectively even in in close quarters combat.
