I love how Soren's look is like "Get off my throne," and Pelleas is like "Oh god! Sorry!"

I get absolutely giddy when Soren is actually drawn to look like a man. It's not so much in a fan-girlish manner (though that's part of it) but to see him depicted in this way and know that a select few people are willing to break him out of the stereo-typed role is a major breath of fresh air.
And listening to this song at the moment just adds dynamic to the artwork and it makes me wish the scene where Soren and Pelleas fight in the snowfield could have been animated/voiced. My heart would just explode from happiness.
Like the others have said: The card concept may be used often, but for them both, you can't really think of something that fits any better.

Hey, that's a really nice song! And animated Soren vs. Pelleas fight sounds awesome. Really, it's a shame there wasn't any interaction between the two apart from the pre-battle conversation. Proper supports or something would have been interesting. Oh well.

The playing card concept fits them very well, I say. And their contrasting expressions say a lot about their personalities (what would've happened if Soren became the king?)
