Me on Windy Hill of the Lost Hex from Sonic Lost World because it's the Sonic game at my age of 22
It looks so cool to have a digital picture on top of a traditional coloured background
I did have some trouble midway as I had already coloured the objects in felt tip and then I spilled a bit of squash when it was in my bag, but luckily not too much that I needed to start all over again
It's also cool I combined coloured pencils with felt tip colouring

burnishing, blending and graduation of colors, cross hatching...will all give a more finished and polished look to colored pencil works. One thing that I do not like about working with markers is that when the tips start getting a little dry it always shows on the picture. I have not yet tried working with ink because it can be as unforgiving as watercolor. I am the type to prefer using water color pencils and following with a wet brush afterwards. I have yet to see anything similar for ink. I live with someone right now who hates anything that makes a mess.

I agree, dry felt tips are harder for colouring, but I might experiment a little to see if they're useful for just a small amount of colour...
I haven't used actual paint and brushes in a while so it'd be good for me to experiment with that too...
