Agatha Clay/Heterodyne is the genius of the title. Having recently discovered her heritage, she is determined to claim the mantle held by her famed family. Agatha is a powerful Spark, a type of mad scientist especially talented at creating and repairing electrical and mechanical devices. Caught between the powers of Europa, old and new, royal and tyrannical, she must use her prodigious gifts to shape her world.
