Bruce Wayne watches the murder of his parents as a child and vows a war on crime and the superstitious and cowardly lot they represent. To do so, he dedicates himself, mind and body, to be the perfect weapon in that war on crime—becoming an expert in forensic sciences, deductive reasoning and many forms of hand-to-hand combat. Wearing the cowl of the Batman, the Dark Knight has become the world’s greatest detective and he uses those skills to win the war in a Gotham that is nearly as relentless as he.
