Description That first panel was a pain to shade... Dx Especially because I had pretty much no experience with fire (drawn in pencil only) and smoke...
So, special thanks to ~Horrika there, for assisting me! Thanks to =DeviantIrk and him I know how to shade rocks properly now. XDD
I only drew some of the other soldier's faces to give them a little more character and make their death more grave that way. Kinda.

I gave the text boxes in the last panel a shadow to make them appear more solid.

I still have no idea why, but I love drawing strong negative emotions, such as despair, rage and shock. Oooh, how I love drawing shocked faces!

Crudge fact #4
He is rather violent. It's too bad I didn't really have the chance to show that in the comic.
I had various ideas of him killing in different ways in mind that I never had the chance to use.
For example, digging the DrillTubes into the eyes of his victim. But maybe that's a good thing. The comic was less gory and funnier. I think I prefer that anyway. ^^^

"I know how to shade rocks properly now"....naja geht so. Still a way to go.

My secons favorite page ^0^
The BG in the first panel is just AMAZING! ^0^
But this page has some things I don't like this much... Crudge's face in the third panel... I think it doesn#t really show his horror or his disbelief of what he just did.
But I also think the shading is really amazing. I love the way you shade this comic, the effort shows, as always, the fire is awesome ^0^
I think as you said the comic is better the way you made it more funny, less violent^^ Tough I would've liked to soo some Drilltubes in some eyes... x3

Scanrand rechts xD

Thanks a lot! ^^^

Yeah, I don't like the third panel that much either, the composition is totally off. Dx It looks like an eye floating in nothingness...

I was planning to kill a charakter that way, but I didn't really get the chance... :'C

This is one of my favorite pages with the smoke and fire and blood.
"I broke it."
So simple, but really powerful. Great feeling from this page.

That panel is REALLY well shaded

And the enjoyment of drawing negative emotions is actually easy to understand. It automaticly makes any drawing more deep, less bland and easier to connect with. Negative feelings are easier to show through the art, but to do it really good so even the viewer feels it deep down too, is a true art.
