Catinas de Super Mario.

First drawing of the year, so I decided to do something simple but fun.

I had already said before how I like the enemy designs from the Mario series, and despite some stuff, I'm pretty glad that they still do fun designs for them. I mean, two legged ladybugs with cartoony eyes that come in different colors, sounds weird but look at them, they're awesome. It's also quite funny that the Para-Biddybuds have bird-like wings instead of bug wings, maybe a pun on "ladybird"? heh.
I wonder if they're related to enemies like Hoopsters or Dotties (from Super Mario Bros 2 and Donkey Kong for GB), or if Nintendo remember the latter.

Enough wordiness, I hope this new year brings better things for everyone.
