These last days I've been playing Donkey Kong 64, to complete it again. It was my first interaction with the DK series, you know, chilhood and that stuff. I remember when I discovered that there were more Donkey Kong games, and when I saw the enemies, I was a bit out of place to see that some of the Kremling enemies were different to the ones I knew, probably one of my first approaches to the concept of "character redesign". I always found curious how different were Kritters in DK 64, more goofy and lanky (no pun intended) compared to the muscular designs of other games, and how they keep this same appearance in Mario Power Tennis, until DK: King of Swing. I like them all, but the Nintendo 64 version has a strange charm to me, I guess it also has to do with how I grew up with that design. I like all Kremlings anyway, I really hope they bring back them for a future Donkey Kong game

It's been a while since I've done a drawing with markers (a full sheet one). Fun fact, I always wanted to make a marker drawing of a DK 64 Kritter ever since I thought about creating a DeviantArt page, actually I wanted it to be one of my first drawings here, but I have no idea why I never did it lol. I feel a bit rusty with the markers, it was hard to make the yellowish-green part of the body with them. But well, here is it, just like the old days haha
