I think your traditional stuff is just as good as your digital stuff, if not better. I wish I could try digital, just to see if it'd improve my stuff.

Well I make plenty more details like this. Probably because the process is easy and instant. But going back a step and applying color is waaaay easier digitally. How've you been doing lately?

Pretty okay I'm still practicing my drawing. I finally drew one of my OCs recently (in original and R63 flavor) and even though there's still a ton of noob mistakes I made, I'm proud of them. I know I have to learn how to shade too. How would I go about learning to do that?

Checked. Your zebras look fabulous. No complaints from me.
Well first you need to imagine where the light will shine when it comes from certain angle. When you know that it should be obvious where to shade and where to apply light. How about placing everyday objects in spotlight and drawing what you see. That is if you don't have a grasp on light effects already. Just practice. To me the shading comes naturally and I enjoy it the most.

It sounds harder than it probably is, but I'll try it when I don't feel so lazy. How about eye styles? Got any tips for those? I just imitated other people's styles on those drawings of my OC.

Like lightyears ahead I think. But coloring, erasing etc are problematic

I can see that...plus it is quite hard to delete mistakes in a traditional medium
