So many have probably seen and are aware of an Adult Swim animated short, Come and Learn with Pibby, making the rounds online with people wanting to see a full series made of it, in due its premise lending itself to dark horror and potential crossover aspect. What some of you might not know is that the main creator of the short, Dave Greenley, had previously worked at Nickelodeon Animation on a couple shows. Most notably, he was a production assistant, storyboard artist and wrote the series finale for Sanjay and Craig, a show I'd personally consider underrated in spite of its flaws.

I thought it was interesting how two very different cartoon worlds, one of which being a nexus point for a greater animated multiverse, turned out to be related in some way, and so naturally I made this in my spare time. With how some backgrounds from other Nicktoons like Rocko's Modern Life and SpongeBob also made their way into the short, I think it might be cool if the series does get picked up that this meeting could occur as somewhat of a callback to the creator's roots.
