Eeeeyy my first pokemon submission for Poke-Life finally. He was the first gijinka design I made so I figured I'd post him first!

Vale is very non-serious. He prefers not to worry about things that concern most people (politics? no thanks...). He's more concerned with being happy and enjoying himself. After all, life's too short. To that end, however, he can be quite dismissive and may end up brushing off someone's problems. He's not very responsible and can be a prankster. Usually it's nothing too bad. Just a way to annoy a friend or an acquaintance. As far as more serious feelings go he tends to avoid them as much as possible. He doesn't like to talk about himself much and instead will try to make light of a bad situation to get through it. If the situation is too serious for even that he'll keep his mouth shut or leave. Despite his utter lack of responsibility and concern he still works hard to make a living and support himself. One of the few things he's actually really good at and enjoys doing is sewing so he's happily working as a tailor in White City.

Vale was the only child in his family. This made him a little spoiled and kind of a prankster cause he could get away with more. He was never mean-spirited in his pranks but they were often annoying and a distraction to the others in school. He got into trouble a lot but it never seemed to bother him much or deter him. Still, he was overall well-liked growing up as he had a very sociable and friendly personality. He only ever had issues when people tried to get closer to him because he wouldn't take their problems seriously giving others the impression that he didn't care about their feelings. Which is far from the truth honestly. His grades in school were average at best. However, over the years he'd developed a talent and a liking for sewing. It was a hobby his grandmother got him into when he was younger in the hopes that it would hold his focus and he would stay out of trouble. It only worked part of the time but he came away with a useful skill! When he graduated he didn't move on to any higher education -- he knew he wouldn't be able to handle it so why bother. Fearing he'd be going around in circles in his hometown he moved to White City where he eventually got a job as a tailor. Nothing glamorous but it pays the bills and it's something he really likes!

-His first name means "wide river valley" in reference to Whimsicott's preference of windy areas. His last name means "thorny" which is in reference to the prickly bristles in cotton
-He has a weird habit of picking things up and shoving them in his pockets (usually coins but sometimes he finds neat little treasures while he's walking)
-His wallet holds more useless cards and junk than money
-People have tried brushing his hair only to fail miserable (and lose their combs/brushes in the process)
-He knows he's got a sweet face and he'll use that to his advantage when tricking people
-He's surprisingly really good at squeezing into places.
-He's lazy and likes to take naps whenever possible.
-With how much hair he has it's not surprising to find strands of it laying around in places he's been...
