Yeah, English has a few things like that.Β Situations where we phrase things a bit weirdly, but because that's how it is done, it sounds weird and wrong when it isn't done that way.Β A lot of the stuff I help fix on the "Improving Skills" comic is that same sort of thing.
As long as you don't write " of" instead of "'ve" when contracting things though, it is all good

Yeah, languages are increadible tricky. For example, Spanish sounds totally weird without double negations, which is counterintuitive. And I think I never interchanged have and of, so cool
