My OC Blackout in the Fighting is Magic Style, She's wielding a Telescopic Super sledge, It's slow moving but high damage.----------------------------------------
"After messing with An Unstable Magical artifact, Blackout is Thrown into an alternate universe where Ponies, griffins, and all manner of magical beasts are competing in a competition known as the Fighting is Magic tournament. There's rumors that the winner of the fights will get what their heart desires. Armed with her Telescopic super sledge and Still infected with a rare breed of Poison joke, This Electric mare Wants to fight her way to the top and get back to the future, by Any means possible"

I tried my Best to imitate the style, but for a first attempt i think its alright.
Sorry for everyone i owe requests, i know i keep procrastinating and get sidetracked easily but i'll try to do them ASAP
Note to everyone: I won't be doing requests in this style as this took a lot longer than I thought and switching between Photoshop and SAI is a pain.
-Requests and commissions aren't open (at the moment)
EDIT: For anyone wanting to draw their own OC in the Fighting is Magic style The font Used is called YukariMobile, I'll Post the Background and the font texture if anyone asks for it. For the paint splats, Use photoshop (if you have it) and download a Splatter Brush pack, If you don't have photoshop then google until you find some you like (Or make your own and scan them in if you'd like)

Sorry to bother, but could you help me figure out the shading 
I'm not really asking about shading in general (like light sources and all that jazz), but like the blending between two tones. Thanks if you can get back to me!

If you want to blend between 2 colours, just draw flat areas of color then draw darker areas of color where there's no light, after that, select the Blur tool and blur them together like that
If you want it like the "rough shading" Draw stripes of color to smooth the blending a little like this [link] then select a small brush and go over the lines to make them all sketchy and stuff like that
Not sure if this will help you but I'm not really the best at describing how to do things

Since you won't be doing "requests" in that style, will you be doing commissions for them? If so, how much?

Not at the moment, I have a lot of other Trades and requests to do before i start opening commissions, but hopefully they should be open 'soon'
As for prices, i haven't really decided yet but it may be around the 100-120 points mark

I don't think there's a guide, but there was a video explaining how they drew applejack [link]
I did mine a completely different way though (Its a lot easier if you have a tablet) as you can create the 'scratchy' lines a lot easier by using pen pressure
The most difficult part is the shading and getting the light on the right surfaces
