Description Everybody's favorite fission powered dragon is back! With a slight redesign.

Itzy carries a flag bearer from one of her adopted human cities. She was supposed to just be there to terraform some of the planet, but for some reason her brethren never showed up and a generation ship crashed to the ground and she has no idea what to do aside from help them out since no one is answering her distress signals.

Also she loses part of her face. Fighting something. Not sure what but I'm pretty sure the battle was epic.

Also, I'm going to make a speedpaint folder and I will upload my speedpaints here. Not just my sketchblog

Three-ish hours. Would be less if Photoshop didn't crash on me

Oh man... what kind of creature is strong enough to actually do that to Itzy?

This is pretty badass dude! You should draw like a picture representing her past that shows what she originally looked like along with some of her kin. Again very nice work, keep' em comin!

I'm lovin' the idea of an artificial, nuclear-powered terraforming organism. Very cool.
Quite an effective painting, especially considering the time it too to make.

Not only is your art of greater skill than squelches like myself will ever achieve, but your ability to give that Arthur C. Clarke-esqe look at the future without having to date it. The technology and idea behind your work seems unattainable, and yet I am convinced that one day something like this could exist. Purely top-notch work. It really sparks the imagination in to an inferno.

Neat! I like how you rendered her. Looks quite rock-like. The color and little chipped-off bits.

You do so much with your brief narrations. You portray a lot, with so few words.

This has just..I lurk a lot and I'm sorry, but I had to say somthing on this. Where is previous evidence of everyone's favorite fission powered dragon D:

Damn, this is just such a cool idea...It always makes me wonder what might eventually happen to a being such as this, i.e. after the extinction of humanity for example (or after its transformation to a point where it no longer needs or employs such entities). Remember "Tin Man," from that Star Trek episode? Already she looks worn and ragged...Beings of such colossal power out patrolling the universe could be the source of Lovecraft's Outer Gods and Great Old Ones.

Beautiful work, as ever and always!

Yeah she is OLD, she's been on the planet for millenia, and doesn't have the support she's normally supposed to get. The dragons are intended to eventually peacefully die and let their bodies serves as power plants. At the moment the people has no capability to use a nuclear power plant, and need her protection and guidance instead. So she basically hacks herself into hanging on for a few thousand more years and tries to build a stable civilization that will outlive her. After all, she's fairly certain something very bad happened to stop all current transmissions.

Ooooh, left behind super-constructs? Now that's a cool idea!

Epic, and it sounds like you have it totally planned out...Is this going to be a book or something, or is it just worldbuilding for your own personal gratification?

I may try to do something with it in the future, but yeah, right now it's largely my own entertainment.
