This is my first critique, so I apologize if it's not that good...

It's nicely drawn and beautifully colored, and Shen looks so cute in his huge robes ^^. I have to wonder though, why is the white flower so much bigger and intricate? Oh, well. It looks so awesome.

I like the idea about using marker for Shen and map pencil for the rest, but perhaps you could have done the sky in marker too... That's just my opinion though.

Overall, this deviation is cute and well-drawn. This makes me want to just scoop baby Shen up in my arms! Nicely done!

I remember this scene from the fanfic! It's the one where Shen and his parents go out for a picnic and when Shen is looking at the flowers his dad tells him that white isn't a bad colour right? Your little Shen's are all so cute! Nice work!
