Description
So, yesterday I was concerned about whether or not jaguars could really be black, and I did a bit of research to see if I had made a mistake. I discovered that there is a fairly common color morphism called melanism, which causes jaguars to be much darker colored than normal. They appear to be all black, but their spots are actually still there upon closer examination. Now, when I say this is fairly common......it means that 6% of jaguars are born with it XD But it IS caused by a dominant allele, if you know what that means, so it wouldn't be a total freakazoid occurrence for Mei-Xing to be melanistic.

Since I want her to be realistic (right, because anthropomorphic animals that wear clothes and do kung fu are SO realistic) I decided that I should draw her with spots.

So I did.
