"Katamari Damacy is a third-person puzzle-action video game that is developed and published by Namco.The game's plot concerns a diminutive prince on a mission to rebuild the star, constellations and moon which were accidentally destroyed by his father, the King of All Cosmos. This is achieved by rolling a magical, highly adhesive ball called a katamari around various locations, collecting increasingly larger objects, ranging from thumbtacks to people to mountains, until the ball has grown great enough to become a star."-From Wikipedia.
If you noticed, I changed a little bit The design of Dig-Dug. He's more smaller like in the movie.^^

I just found out Dig dug's name isn't dig dug D: , his name is really Taizo Hori ... oh and he has a son named Susumu Hori

Still would like to see Susumu in your style sometime. but I do like how you made Taizo's"Shovel" look like the one he has ingame XD (Seriously I heard that He's supposed to be using his "Drill-pump" but It looks more like a shovel, IDK what it is.)

It's a drill but I think that "drill" transform into a pump. It's not clear so I try my best when I draw this mechanical mystery!

Ok, I changed the color of Dig-Dug's face again after my twin sister treated me as a fucking racist!! I think he's better with his blue face!

Yes, I changed the design. For the skin color, that take me a lot of time before I take a decision: Blue or not? Sometime, I wonder if I take a good choice...I love the blue skin version (It's is the oldest version of Dig-Dug) but if I introduce other character of his family, that will become strange because his son and wife have not blue skin... It's only for that reason I "updated" the character. In some old version and today, Dig-Dug have a white skin.
It's not just you, Dig-Dug is really much smaller! When I saw the original video game on Youtube and rewatched the movie again, I noticed the way how this character walk throught the Game central. A character like Turbo or Felix can't walk like that. A smaller one, yes! It's like a mouse!^^ So that why I gave him a much smaller size.

I have an idea! what if you do a picture with both DD's and the shorter one can be a reboot of the original DD c: so blue skin is classic from 80's and the short one is like ... i dont know any more I still think their both cute just prefer the blue one but thats not my choice. oh by the way I've wanted to ask if you do art trades or commisions

I keep the blue face (you see the change in the comic?) is less complicated! LOL For art trade...an art trade must be a general subject. No something too personal (draw me with Ralph), too complicated, too weird. Just a simple idea as you can see in my gallery. Keep in mind that drawing will be put in this gallery and view by many people.

J'ai lu un commentaire de ce genre sur le net en rapport au jeu de Dig-Dug...l'auteur du commentaire disait que pour avoir inventé un jeu dans lequel un p'tit bonhomme creuse des tunnels, explose des dragons pis des tomates géantes, récolte des fruits ou des fleurs, Y fallait vraiment que la drogue soit de première qualité!!
N'empêche qu'on les aime, ces personnages-là!
