Wonderful composition and interesting brushwork, I particularly like the way the brushstrokes evoke the metallic texture of the kettle, the contrasts of light and shade on the folds in the table cloth also create a convincing three dimensional effect.

Beautiful composition and markmaking! I love that you bring a really artistic, personal touch to your still lifes rather than just making them straight realistic renderings. The way the tea kettle's handle disappears in to the background is just lovely!

Wow. I love how the orange falls over into other areas of the painting - it really livens the picture up, rather than it being just a dull recreation.

Wow this is really beautiful! You have a really good set of paints and good technique for working with the more vibrant, scarier colours i tend to dismiss like the vermilion here. I think your skillful use of it really gives the monotonous, dull neutral colours a really nice kick and actually enhance the tertiary colours hidden beauty. I also love the glossy black jug there too as well as the sharp fabric. The way it sort of reflects and sprays onto the kettle shows off its brilliance, i really like this painting, and i'm sure it would make an interesting mood and character to a simple room!
