Nice work! I can't quite find the right words, but there is a straight forwardness, and clarity in this painting that appeals to me. It comes across as simple, direct, but a simplicity derived from your skilled application of paint.

Love the soft edge planes and warm reflected light. You do indeed take good advantage of the softening qualities of maroger.
