This is a long overdue commission for .This was a lot of fun. The initial concept that I was given to work with allowed for a wide range of possibilities, and it took me a while to find one that I liked. It got a little tedious working on some of the fine details near the end, but I learned so much while I was working that it was definitely worth it.
For one thing, I think I can cross trees off my list of things to improve, although I'm still not happy with my rocks.Β

First can I say that I love how you drew the twisted, knotted tree. It's gave the tree a lot of personality... haha that sounds weird... well plants can have personalities okay xD
Wonderful job on the pony! I love how you drew her main, and those feathers are so lovely!
I know you said you weren't satisfied with the rocks, but I think they look brilliant, especially those mountains in the distance!

For you others out there, I was privileged to be able to watch this work as it progressed... I can not believe the amount of work, sweat, and frustration Turnip put into this piece, but it turned out absolutely spectacular!
