Description
This is part of an art trade that I did with the talented photographer *YellowEleven .I like this style, I dunno about you all but it suits me. I'll probably try to do another realistic/detailed piece soon. But for now, you get my pastels and pretty hair. Do you guys think I did the original model justice? I know the nose is off a lot, forgive me if you can.

yes she's beatifull! and the vector worked out well! i still wonder - do you have a special technique for the hair? don't worry bout the nose- you did a great job - well i can't make a nose really well so... god mine looked stupid... i tried to do it by using diffrent colored layers... it looksed like it was broken...

I just do it strand by strand usually, and fill in all the parts in between. Adding little strands here and there makes it look more life like.

I think I actually like your stylized pieces more. Sure, the super dooper photorealistic ones take more TIME and a bit more... I dunno, HUTZPAH, but it's pieces like these where I can see more creativity. It's less a photo and more a work of art, if that makes any sense.

Oo very nice. Definitley love the colors. I also like the simpleness of the image, no detail to the hair and whatnot. At the same time, however, you can tell that a lot of work went into it. Great job once again.

i like the style, but i miss the shading. maybe even just a little bit... right now with solid colors, it kinda looks like you stopped before you were finished. then again, maybe just me.

Looks good. I think you pretty much captured the essence of the photo. What I like best, I think, are the colors. It gives the picture a very soft, warm feel to it.

you did an awesome job turpentine. im with billy and joey, i like the simple style more, in my opinion it highlights the emotion a little more as we're not so dumbstruck by the detail

I rather like the style of course. Though with this one, it's hard to hit the hair detail with it, so the vector doesn't resemble the original as much, at least in my opinion. And although the freckles are cool, they are also a bit distracting on the eye. Overall solid, however.
