My Fire /Energy blaster (blapper) for the MMO City of Heroes whom owes alot of her appearance and personality to Hellboy as well as my love of various pulp heroes .Still learning colored pencils so arguably it came out a bit rough

Jinn turned out great! I only saw the sketch of this a while back, and I was hoping it'd look good! I love the little flame effects and the texture you got going on the metal of the BIGHAND is fantastic, not something I'd have expected from coloured pencils!

Im back and fourth on colored pencils espescially after seeing how polished digital coloring makes everything look , still the textures you can get coloring with pencils are pretty awesome.

If glossy is what you were going for, I think she would have looked much more baby-oil coated if you did to her outfit what you did to her hair.

Post them on the mainboards? I always forget to do that as you know how me and the mainboards are. It's like one of those on again off again relationships that don't really go anywhere. That said I do have something planned for the near future that shall be mainboarded, keep an eye (or two) open for it!

I love how Shirow gets that glossy look on the girls in his art so im trying a few different things to get folks to look shiney or like they are coated in baby oil

I've recently worked out how to do it... now you've given me an idea for my very first tutorial...!
Hopefully I can make it relevant to both Paintshop Pro (which I prefer to do skintones in) and Photoshop...
But yeah, if you want those glistening highlights, add them in post-production after you've scanned.
