I took that “find your fave pokemon” test that’s going around. You know, that one that makes you have a crisis trying to pick which one you really love? Well, I’d thought for years now that Honchkrow was my fave, with Hypno in second, but when it came down to it, I just couldn’t pick the bird over my fluffy nose bunny. So to celebrate my newly rediscovered fave pokemon, I drew a little hypno for the first time in quite a while.Also, come check me out on twitter and/or instagram if you'd like!

I love your use of color! Do you have any inspiration or tips on practicing color or value by any chance? I've been eye-dropping from classical paintings for private practice.

Thank you! Hmm... honestly, eye dropping is not always a bad thing. I use it sometimes for painting environments. Like, I'll color sample from photos of actual landscapes and whatnot to get some colors from. But for most stuff like this I just kind of wing based on what feels good to me. I don't know if there's really a trick to it, you know?
