I would like to say that the pancreas produces insulin...which is necessary for maintaining a healthy blood glucose level. The pancreas of a diabetic person doesn't work properly, which is why they have to have insulin shots/pills, but mostly shots. *nodnod* Yeah, most of my family is diabetic, so I know these things.
