Lovely drawing! In reading Morgoth's Ring and the Silmarillion I was under the impression that Mairon/Sauron was not wholly evil in the First Age. I love how you have depicted this other side of him! Sure, he may not like those Melkor hating elves, but that doesn't mean he was devoid of all caring. The style in which this was created makes a very dramatic impression too!
