Why does our state look so cute? Admittedly she looks like about one in then girls here, but still. Out summers are frying, our winters are butt numbingly cold, what is she dressed for? That's like mid fall fashion.
A bunch of interesting facts about our state you might not know.
1: PenDOT, our states DMV, roads service, toll operators, etc. is the most funded state orgonization in the U.S. and the head of PenDOT is the highest paid non-elected government worker in the U.S. He makes more than the President!
2: We have arguably some of the best roads in the world.
3: We also have statistically the worst drivers in America to use them.
4: Liquor is state controlled, and we have some of the lowest DUI in America. However it doesn't change point number 3, it just means we have fewer excuses.
5: We have more varieties of poisonous plants, animals, and fungi than any other state in America. We have 7 varieties of rattle snakes, 8 vipers, 47 plants, 28 fungi, an BOTH varieties of North American poisonous spider, the Black Widow and Brown Recluse.
6: Despite PA being mainly a 'Blue State' in Presidential elections, a political distribution map shows PA to be almost entirely Red except for Philly and Pitt. There is a reason that almost every elected official in PA is Republican.
7: We are almost as well armed as Texas, and that's with stricter gun control laws.
8: We are arguably the state with the most hunters in America.
9: On the first day of Deer Season, many schools in PA just say 'Aw screw it, class is canceled for today' due to the number of absences over the decades as kids ditched school to go hunting with their parents. Not to mention the teachers...
10: The Hershey Corporation and Hershey Entertainment are the two largest businesses in PA.

I don't know much about Pennsylvania, so I don't know if it's accurate or not.

Yeah but many people have different interpretations of how Pennsylvania

are Commonwealths and which are States.

It really has to do more with local government districts. You have state, county, city, township. You can get from township to township in about five minutes driving at neighborhood speeds. The township has its own elected governing board that collects taxes and handles local issues. Then the city handles city wide issues. Then the county handles county wise issues. And then the state handles statewide and federal issues. And they ALL get taxes.

does that have to do with anything you just said?
By the way, Illinois has the most governments at 6,994 of any state. Unfortunately.
