I've been trying to get caught up on some personal art things I wanted done, and here's something that's long overdue! If anyone remembers, I created Benedict here for a MYO contest over a year ago. Made him official and never got around to getting his registry up, heh...he's had a few very minor tweaks in design.

Name: Benedict, Bene, or Ben
Gender: Male
Age: No one knows... >v>
Type: Normal
Class-Rank: Apprentice Healer (meaning he's working on becoming a healer!)
Powers/ability: He only knows a very weak protection spell as of now.
Status: Self-aware
Personality: Benedict is extremely kind and caring, going out of his way to do things for others and to bring comfort and kindness to those he meets, regardless of disposition or background. This is not to say he is completely unaware when someone tries to take advantage of this, as he will act accordingly, albeit with great disappointment and sorrow. He doesn't talk much and hardly ever raises his voice. He has a very strong desire to bring peace to others and to help guide those who need it.
Bio: Benedict became cursed a long time ago, and unfortunately he doesn't know for what reason or what things were like before it happened. When he first came to after being cursed he was very bewildered at the sight of his own body being stained with various black splotches. Having been an incredibly superstitious and religious individual before, he assumed that the curse and the black stains were for some terrible sin he must have committed, and this was now the consequence. He became distraught and unsure of what to do with himself and ended up wandering aimlessly for a long time and then finally giving up and becoming a lifeless doll, lying in the same place for the space of many years.
One day a kind old man happened upon the doll, and taking pity on it brought it home and cleaned it up, unaware that it was in fact a living being. Benedict was given his name by this man, having forgotten his own long before, and though still remaining in his doll form, began to observe this man with curiosity. The man happened to be well-versed in the ways of religion, albeit his own twist on it, and was always preaching to others and even Benedict about doing good to others.
When Benedict finally managed the courage and will to, he revealed himself to the kind man and asked kindly to be taught in his ways, to be of help to others, to which the old man agreed.
Benedict learned many things here, both of spiritual things as well as practical things, and became a wonderful aid to his new companion.
Many years have gone by now, and the old man has since passed on, but Benedict continues the teachings of his savior and trusted friend even now through his service towards others.
Other:
-He's very skilled in sewing and mending, and that is often what he does to make a living (although he will sometimes do it for free).
-The ribbons on his clothes hide his black splotches.
-The silver cross necklace was a gift from his old companion. He keeps it close to him and often clutches it when nervous or frightened to comfort him.
-Is known to communicate with spirits and said to have "visions" on occasion (when he sleeps).
-He's very fond of fine cheese!
-He speaks fluent Latin and Italian (as he lived in Italy for most of his life, both before and after being a Maskcatz.). He's trying to learn English but isn't very good at it.

Inner: Gray smoke
Clothes Description: Standard white suit, black splotches hidden beneath the ribbons. Wings drawn on the back.
Other details: His default face (like when in doll form) looks a bit sad. The gray streaks from his eyes represent tears, and the gold ring is a halo (it was painted on).
