is this even a real 3D render? It would be tough, but everything here could be done without ever touching a 3D program... just insane amounts of time getting gradients to match.
second. wireframes are interesting to the eye. is this where all 3D'ish art is heading now? a deconstruction from shiny renders to simple shape and form... but still. no function no blingbling... and even then, id have a hard time recreating somthing this complex. well done, technically.

Looks pretty sweet dude, I can see the amount of effort that went into that. Dunno where I would start to make something like it. Nice work. The 2D work looks especially grand, all the little corcles and white outline on the background.
