Oh man, I would not want to be on that drifblim's bad side... D:
Hehe I like this composition.
What you can do is change the compression of your jpegs. If you're saving them as 8's, try 10's. Just remember, the higher quality the jpeg, the larger file size it is. What version of photoshop are you using?

Yeah, I think when it all comes down to it, it's either sacrificing color or having a large file... so, what I usually do is I have a .tif copy of everything. Even though those have usually large file sizes (because they save with layers) I can always go back and do another save as on whatever quality jpeg I want.

Hey....DON'T USE .BMP! Someone mentioned that earlier. It's a terrible file format that makes it all grainy and low quality. D:<
Try using .PNG instead. It saves the image perfectly, so it looks just as it did when you drew it. It takes up more space, so if you can sacrifice the hard disc space, it'll keep art thieves off your tail! 8D

I didn't get the chance to try .BMP anyways....
Someone told me to use .PNG also but when i tried it out it looked almost the same as the jpeg... T__T.... will no one get to see the vibrant colors of hese things.. oh i'll try it again and yes i most defefnitly have the disc space for it..lol i have a tarabyte hooked up to my computer! :3

When you saved, did you choose .PNG on the drop down menu, or did you change the filename to .PNG at the end?
When I saved, I chose .PNG and the colour of the bright green I used to test it still remained the same.
And when you tried saving the in .PNG format, did you save the one that had the vibrant colours?

err i change the ending to PNG. or Jpeg but is spent a little bit of time messing with another pic and there was no difference between the Jpeg or the PNG but i didn't actually change the pic its self so i'll try that..... *sigh*

Changing the ending to .PNG doesn't make a difference in this situation. It only makes a difference if you change the picture format itself.

wow this is so confusing but i figured out with my other pic that if i stick to using web safe colors the color stays more vibrant and stuff no matter what ending part/thing that i chose.

I don't know what "web safe colours" are, but whatever floats your banana boat, and as long as it works for you. xD
