Description 1.
“I’m not a schemer; they’re sad little men trying to control their little worlds.  They just need to see for themselves how funny life can be; especially when death is the punch line.  I am an agent of chaos, and I love what I do.”

2.
“Crime cannot be tolerated; this is not how man was supposed to live.  I am the check against corruption; my will like a purging fire.  My name is Henri Ducard, and my will shall never die.”

3.
“I’m proud of what I am; of what I’ve made of myself.  I have achieved more than anyone can even dream.  I’m beyond good and bad, right and wrong, guilty and innocent.  I don’t care what they call themselves, as long as they stay out of my way.  My name is Bane, and I am the perfect being.”

4.
“All my life I had to fight to survive.  Nothing was ever handed to me, so I took it.  Now I’m setting my sights toward higher prizes; I’ve lived in the gutter long enough.  My name is Selina Kyle, and it’s every man for himself.

5.
“Fear is power.  Fear is control.  Fear takes your mind where many seldom go.  I respect the mind’s power over the body, that’s why I do what I do.  My name is Jonathon Crane, and I am fear itself.”

6.
“I remember a better time; a simpler time.  A time when streets weren’t littered with bodies; a time when people kept their promises; a time when dangerous men didn’t rule over the meek.  My name is Edward Nashton, and I wish to know…
…when did the rules change?”

7.
“I’ve always been different, not my fault.  People blame me for it, anyway.  Not my fault I lose my temper; not my fault they can’t fight; not my fault they taste good.  My name is Waylon Jones, and they should know better than to pick a fight with an animal.”

8.
“I’m not a bad person; I’ve made good and bad choices, but in the end the world decides our fate.  The world is cruel, and the only morality in a cruel world is chance; unbiased and unprejudiced.  My name is Harvey Dent, and I’m not a bad person.”

This is a bit of a response to your "Things to remember when adapting Villans to the Nolanverse."

Most of your words ARE true, but I believe someone can actually adapt "them" on how they see it. (Just as Nolan has)

Me, myself, have already semi-already adapted characters the probaly couldn't have been possibly be entered as "Nolanverse Characters".

But that is the point of the Nolanverse... It adapted realism to the a comic-book and other versions, of the Batman. Sure, yeah, a pyscotic clown that blows up buildings can be easily put into realism just as dog as pet be put into a welcoming family.

But, again, that is the point of the Nolanverse.. It inspires incredible ideas, per say you put a "Bane" into a movie or a story and he still has pipes circulating Venom throughout his body or he was oversized arms and stands eight feet tall.

Although, your views of the Nolanverse cannot be avoided and most of them are actually TRUE. But nevertheless I'd like to see characters, as fans seem them, put into it as they must see it.

I, too, had to frown upon the last 90s Batman... but with a large announces of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, it unleashed a new chapter in the power of the imagination.

So, I gotta say, people have different views... and I have to clap at your ideas, but I'll follow my own path... like placing someone, like Killer Croc, as an eight-foot-tall, green-scaled, beast, into something like the Nonlanverse, "something like the Nolanverse" key words their, I pretty much created (kind of) creaste me own "Verse" and played unimaginable characters.

But if you actually read other stories, people have actually followed the exact oppisite of your words (NO offense ...) and placed their own favorite villans as unrealistic as they saw fit...

Now, I am not against you... or anything... but it seems (SEEMS!) that you were pressing these facts onto "the masses".

(Apologizes of a complicated writer/reader)

PS: Your works are great... love the Blackmask.. mask...

I appreciate your response and your ideas regarding my posts. It was not my intention to force these ideas onto anybody, but rather it was only my wish to enlighten my readers about these characters, what makes them compelling psychologically and how they have sustained their popularity for so long. I was also working within the vision set by Christopher Nolan's films in trying to determine how these characters would exist and interact in the real world. I'm not condemning the more fantastical elements in the comics, they just don't work in Nolan's vision.

I do enjoy hearing from my readers while they share their ideas.

Exactly true my friend... but it was just a vibe I got...

Plus, I agree, I would like to see these immpossibly genius characters reaction and what they do in "the real world".
