I drew these three designs in mind with the notion that the Riddler never makes a physical appearance to anyone. Rather, he speaks through a computer with any of these images displayed just so he may leave his mark. The actual drawing is a stylized Sphinx like the one from the Greek story Oedipus.Batman is copyright of DC Comics and WB studios.

So you're saying that Riddler could be like how L was originally in Death Note before he made a full physical appearance?

If you mean a disguised voice with just an "L" on every screen, then yes. (I didn't watch Death Note as mush as I wanted to so my memory is a bit fuzzy) Just imagine a giant "?" on the screen with the mocking voice of the Riddler filling everyone's ears. That would be classic.
