Umm.. hard to believe an article from an untrusted source, a quick google search tells me "it’s a website basically created for the sole purpose of smearing the name and reputation of people and businesses that don’t align with Big Cat Rescue’s ideology." Saying that though everyone is entitled to their own opinion and concerns for such places. I've been here, I've stayed and I know someone who had worked there for many years and is now working elsewhere with tigers and conservation so I have more trust.

I definitely I didn't look into the sources at all, it really was just a quick google. I just get really really suspicious when I see photographs of cubs, because sadly more often than not the cubs are being exploited

Oh that is really shit and should be illegal. As far as I know they do not gt rid of their cubs for such things. They are a small family owned zoo. But a big reason why trust in what they do is because I stayed there fora short time and seen it and also the person who used to work there I have 100% trust in. He is on DA although not a lot these days. He now works for the Freeland foundation in Thailand doing tiger conservation
The thing is, they are accredited but what makes them different is animal interaction. In this zoo you can meet and greet some of the animals. Some people see this as good and some don't. The way I see it is if an animal can't be released back into the wild then being hand reared early on is a good thing. What I found staying there for a few days is that the animals seemed a lot more relaxed and happier. I think it also gives people more appreciation for them and they want to help out more after such an experience. Mind you if bad people out there didn't hunt and kill and destroy their habitats then zoos wouldn't be needed at all in this world. It's just unfortunate that it's not like that
I do quick goole searches too but also just reading that article it had no substance to it, nothing to really back up what was being said. There was a comment that explained it a bit better as well. But I took a look through the site as well and just found them having a go at people in general in a very childish way and it was nothing to do with animal abuse, it looked like they just didn't like the person and throwing slanderous comments. It's hard to know who to believe on the internet which is why I take everything with a grain of salt unless they are a trusted site or there is good evidence to what they are saying.
