When we visited San Nicandro in Italy which is where my family comes from there were a few feral cats around. This was one of the pretty ones that I found. There were a few of them playing but stopped to stare at me

This is similar to what you see all over in Israel. There are so many cute but feral cats there.

Settlers brought them over to help curb the mouse and rat problems and they became wild. Most cats in Israel were born in the wild, even though they are genetically domestic cats.

I love how in this photo the cat's eyes are both cute and sad... This pic would definitely work for pet shelters and such looking to motivate people into helping, because this is a truly touching photo.

Awwww how cute! It doesn't matter that the cats are feral, my heart still goes out to them and wants to love them. I love the lighting on this and the simple background of the wall--as always a beautiful photo that captures my heart!

yeah that's true, my mom doesn't like it when I pet the ferral cat's so I have to wash my hand's right after like three time's before she say's it's ok. I can't help but pet them, I mean what else do you do when a cat is rubbing up against your leg and purring

We have a "Trap, Neuter, Release" Program for our communities feral cats.
I should really take more pictures of them, really.

Every now and then there are unexpected times of where- me and a feral creature will have only what I can describe as 'a moment'. the most funny instance was a stray scruffy, medium size dog (looked like a Pointer breed) who initially startled me 
i love the photo in that this 'unexpected' moment appears to be shown here, in a spontaneous setting, silently plucking empathetic strings...
