I really like the focus and the colours, it's lovely! Too bad its feet are missing... I think it would be even better it they weren't cut off.

I love this photo! Ever since I read Kipling's "Rikki Tikki Tavi" I've liked these little creatures. I always thought that it was funny that the plural of mongoose is mongooses!

I think this is a Yellow Mongoose (Cynictis penicillata)

They're sometimes misID'd and called a Red Meerkat.
