Long after the arrest of the Chairman and the finale of the Galarian Pokemon Gym Challenge, things had began to settle once again for the former champion of Galar. Dynamax was now a simple way of sport, everyone was safe, and to surprise, he now had an adopted son.

Angie, his wife, had taken it upon herself to adopt the former personal trainer from Rose's hand. Bede, just shy of 13, was swept away from his homeless nature and was taken into the household with open arms. It seemed to have been a long time coming. Leon knew the moment Angie heard about his lack of family that it wouldn't be long until they had him under their wings. He still trained under Opal often, and did tend to go out to challenge the current Champion every now and again, but he didn't seem to mind his new home too much.

And now Bede sat silently on the floor as his Rotom rang with cheers and music, the familiar Dynamax Chant following. His eyes were narrowed slightly in focus, but a smile played his lips. His adopted father say behind him, observing was well. He was smiling too. "He's really good, huh?"

"With no offense, probably the best," Bede replied a little more bluntly than needed.

However, Leon only laughed. "I don't blame you. Him and Gloria, they're really something."

"I guess they are... To some extent."

"Bede? Leon?" The blonde woman asked as she stepped over. She took now if his quick glance as she sat, adjusting her glasses. "What's that you're watching, dear?"

"A champion match, Miss Angie," he replied, not looking up.

She huffed. "Young man, I have told you to call me Mother!" Her tone was playful, but the intentions were clear.

"My apologies, but I'm not ready for that yet."

Another present for my friend ! She wanted to adopt Bede and marry Leon, so there she goes!
