Description

A pause on the empty sidewalks and the two halted, leaving each other side by side. The long raven hair of the taller girl swayed slightly as the boy beside her was off in a vision of his own. He was silent, and it gave off a feeling Kaguya didn't like. She glanced at him, noticing his gaze was on the large pendant on his neck, and she gave a soft sigh.

"Yugi," She said, finally gaining his attention as he looked up. "I understand how difficult this must all be. You've been through so much, and you're yet so young. You shouldn't have to be the one to do this."

"I-It is hard..." He muttered, barely nodding. "But its... Its my destiny, I suppose. I can't do much about it when its fate. Besides, who else will if not me?"

"I guess you're right..." Kaguya added, "But it still shouldn't be you. Fate is always a twisted friend, no matter who it resides with."

"Sometimes, I guess," Yugi said with a small, half-hearted laugh, his expression clearly not sharing his attempt at positivity.

Kaguya frowned and took a step closer, causing him to fall silent. "Even so... I want to assure your safety, Yugi," She said, her tone soft and her eyes gentle. "I know I can't do much than to cheer you on, or offer a place to open your heart and regrets, but... That won't stop me from trying to make sure the darkness of this world never reaches you."

"You... Mean that...?" Yugi said softly, his eyes lighting with wonder.

"No harm shall come to you," She finally spoke, now gently reaching over to place her fingers under his chin. His face started to redden, and his lips were parted slightly, and she took a small glance into his eyes before adding, "Not while I'm here... Yu-Chan." She then leaned in, lips barely grazing for a moment of hesitation before claiming his lips with her own.

He was wide eyed, and her tall stature had him up on his toes. The position lasted for no more than a few seconds before she broke away, and she was now able to see his completely reddened face as her own remained the same pale it always was.

"K-Kaguya..."

Made a little base, colored ON said base, and now have a meaningless snippet of whatever the frick! I'm REALLY liking YuGiOh so far and I can't get enough. So have fun seeing this bio-less chick around until I finish the series. Hope you enjoy my madness!
