Hollow Queen 🐝

This is a drawing I started in late 2018 but was left unfinished, haunting me in silence in the corner of my drawing room. I felt that the idea and execution needed was bigger than where my skill level was at the time. I told myself I would finish it when I was better, pretending that it wasn't fear or insecurity holding me back from continuing. It also served as this constant reminder that I have a bad habit of starting bigger projects and then putting them on the back burner.

But I wanted to go into 2023 differently, and this piece was one of those hurdles I needed to overcome first. So this past month I have been chipping away at this drawing every night, and finally I can share the finished illustration with you all! I hope I can inspire anyone else stuck in this type of rut to not let self doubt and excuses prevent you from taking action!
