Had my sketchbook open all weekend during the con, and here is the resulted doodle. Had fun creating this and only used a .05mm pencil. It's great for those smaller detailing sections."I would rather live pretending the friend i had and loved died, rather than pretend the friendship we have now is the same."

This makes me think of Peter Pan. Maybe it's the youthful face and wild hair.
The quote really drives it home because recently I heard a very interesting spin on who Peter is...
He is the angel of death that comes for children. He's not a scary man in black. He's a big-brother/playmate type that will take them to a fantastical place where they'll never grow old and can play and have fun forever. An immensely sad, but very sweet take on one of my favorite characters.

I really love your pencil sketches! Do you do the "chicken scratch step" drawing a line little by little or do you envision your line and draw it confidently in one flow?
I'd love to see this one colored (perhaps during a livestream?). The man I get, but how do you come up with all this feathery, flowery goodness at the back of his head? Because THAT makes the piece REALLY interesting for me.
